Your Municipal Bills Can Now Be Paid Online! The Town of Douglas is pleased to announce that residents can now pay their municipal bills online. This new payment method serves to accommodate those Douglas residents who want the convenience of paying their taxes and fees online, anytime day or night. It also benefits the town in that payments are processed automatically, allowing town employees faster balance reconciliation and more time to work on other town issues. UniBank, with corporate offices in Whitinsville , MA , will charge a nominal fee of 50¢ per payment (each electronic debit from a checking account). Credit card payments will be accepted in the near future. Currently, only the May 2004 Water/Sewer bills are online. In the future all Real Estate, Motor Excise and Water/Sewer bills will be available for payment online. Bills may still be paid in person during regular hours at the Municipal Center .
