DOUGLAS PERSONNEL BOARD

May 18, 2010



Members Present: Ellie Chesebrough, Lois Garrison, Sharon Brotherton, Debby Heinz, BettyAnn McCallum

Non-members: Ida Ouillette, Jeanne Lovett, Mike Guzinski

• TRANSFER STATION: The Board of Health submitted a revised job description for the new position of Transfer Station Supervisor. The position was rated and assigned a score of 170. The Personnel Board is unsure which grid this position should be placed on and will discuss it further with someone from the Board of Health.

• WATER/SEWER: Updated job descriptions from the Water/Sewer Dept. have been received. Members will rate them at home and discuss them at the next meeting.

• PRINCIPAL ASSESSOR: Ida Ouillette, Jeanne Lovett and Mike Guzinski felt that the Board rated the position of Principal Assessor too low. After discussing the job description and explaining the amount of responsibility this position will have, the Board decided to review the job description again. The original rating was 290, the second rating was 350, placing it in the M-2 category. Ida said she would reword parts of the job description to make it clearer.
