Subject Matter of the Hearing: The Applicant is requesting approval from the Douglas Planning Board pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 9.4 Site Plan Review.
Project Description: Medicinal Alternatives, Inc., a Registered Medical Dispensary per the Commonwealth of Massachusetts plans to build and operate a Medical Cannabis Cultivation & Processing Facility on the 2nd floor of the 120 Gilboa Street building. The tenant plans to develop 30,000 – 50,000 square feet of floor space for this purpose.
Project Site and Location: The project is located at 120 Gilboa Street, Douglas, MA, Assessor's Map 138, Parcel 43.
Place of Public Hearing: Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA.
Any person interested or wishing to be heard should appear at the time and place designated. A copy of the submittal is available for review during regular business hours in the Douglas Community Development Department, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA 01516.
