NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:15pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA to hear the following Application:

7:15 PM Public Hearing: Kenneth Gouin is requesting a Variance in a Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoned District pursuant MGL Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 9.2 and Section 4.1.3 – Table of Dimensional Requirements for a side yard setback of 25-feet. Due to the pre-existing non-conforming parcel, the required minimum setbacks leave the parcel with very narrow buildable area. The relief that is being sought is to reduce the side yard setback from 25-feet to 18.5-feet to construct a new two-story dwelling located at 29 Laurel Glades, Map 148, Parcel 38.
A copy of the Application may be viewed in the Community Development Department during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed Application should appear at the time and place designated.
