TOWN OF DOUGLAS
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals will hold Public Hearings on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA to hear the following Application:

7:00pm Christine Cassino & Joshua Dube are requesting a Variance in a Village Residential Zoned area pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Appendix B – Dimensional Regulations to vary the required front yard setback from 50-feet to 5-feet and side yard setback from 15-feet to 5-feet to construct a 10-foot by 14-foot storage shed on property located at 4 Monroe Street.

7:15pm Puma Partners, LLC are requesting a Special Permit in a Village Business Zoned area pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 3.0-Use Regulations, Subsection 3.4- Non-conforming Uses and Structures, Subsection 3.4.5 – Non-conforming Single and Two Family Residential Structures to convert the existing non-conforming one-family structure into a two-family structure on property located at 355 Main Street. The structure is non-conforming due to the lot size, frontage, front yard setback and right yard setback requirements.

A copy of the Application may be viewed in the Community Development Department during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed Application should appear at the time and place designated.
