NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing beginning at 7:35pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA to hear the following Application:

7:35 PM Anthony Ciccone is requesting a Special Permit in a Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoned area pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 3.0 – Use Regulations, Subsection 3.4 – Nonconforming Uses and Structures, Subsection 3.4.7- Reconstruction after Catastrophe or Demolition to demolish a 784-square foot legal pre-existing non-conforming structure to construct a 1,624-square foot single family structure with a garage underneath. The required front yard setback is 50-feet and is approximately 34-feet and the required rear yard setback is 25-feet and is approximately 17-feet located at 283 Southwest Main Street, Map 227, Parcel 27.

A copy of the submittal may be viewed in the Community Development Department during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed Application should appear at the time and place designated.
