ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals will hold Public Hearings beginning at 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA to hear the following Applications:
7:20 PM Haagsma Realty Trust is requesting a Variance in a Village Residential (VR) Zoned District pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 4.1, Appendix B to vary the required 50-foot front yard setback to allow a 35-foot front yard setback to construct a single family dwelling on property located at 68 Depot Street, Map 169, Parcel 46.
7:40 PM Raymond Lafave is requesting a Variance in an Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoned District pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Appendix B to vary the required 25-foot right side yard setback to allow a 10.5-foot right side yard setback to construct a 30-foot by 40-foot two-car garage on property located at 43 Southeast Main Street, Map 213, Parcel 5.
7:50 PM Andrew & Ruth Parker are requesting a Special Permit in an Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoned District pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 4.3 and 4.3.1, Appendix B to vary the required 200 Feet of Road Frontage to allow approximately 179.33 feet and 90,000 of Lot Area to allow 43,596 feet to construct a single family dwelling on property located at 42 Shore Road, Map 284, Parcels 49 & 50.
A copy of the Applications may be viewed in the Community Development Department during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed Applications should appear at the time and place designated.
