The Town of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals will hold Public Hearings on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting

7:00 PM Gilboa Properties, LLC is requesting a Special Permit pursuant to the Town of Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Appendix A-Schedule of Use Regulations for the service of motor vehicles or equipment in an Industrial Zoned area (IND) and a Variance pursuant to Section 5.0 General Regulations, for the purpose of a reduction of parking spaces from 65 spaces (for vehicle service open to public) to 18 spaces (for vehicle service for private company only) located at 120 Gilboa Street, Map 130, Parcel 43.

7:15 PM Michael Cnossen is requesting a Special Permit in a Rural/Agricultural Zoned area (RA) pursuant to the Town of Douglas Zoning Bylaws Section 3.0 – Use Regulations, Subsection 3.4 – Nonconforming Uses and Structures, Subsection 3.4.3 Nonconforming Structures. The existing footprint is approximately 3,800 square feet, the rear deck is 960 square feet and the front porch is 280 square feet to construct an addition and garage of approximately 2,916 square feet with new replaced front porch approximately 500 square feet located at 16 Shady Lane, Map 158, Parcel 23.

A copy of the Applications may be viewed in the Community Development Department during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed Applications should appear at the time and place designated.
