In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 41, Section 80-T and 81-U, and the Town of Douglas Rules and Regulations Governing the Subdivision of Land in Douglas, the Douglas Planning Board will Re-Open the Public Hearing and Amend the Application of the Definitive Subdivision Plan.

The Application was originally filed with the Planning Board on June 27, 2016 concerning property located at 175 Main Street, 187 Main Street and 229 Main Street, Douglas, MA known as “The Lane at Hunts Pond”. The Applicant, Allen G. Riley and Hunts Pond, LLC requests to amend the Application to delete from the Subdivision and the Site certain land known as and numbered 175 Main Street, Douglas, MA, which the Applicant has conveyed to a third party. As amended, the Application consists of 187 Main Street and 229 Main Street, Douglas, MA an approximately 28-lot Subdivision and a new approximately 2,100-foot roadway to be known as “The Lane” as shown on an Amended Plan of Land entitled “The Lane at Hunt’s Pond, Definitive Subdivision Modification Plan” by Heritage Design Group, dated July 19, 2017.

The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 7:30pm, in the Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA.

A copy of the plan and application is available for viewing in the Community Development Department during regular business hours.

Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed application should appear at the time and place designated.
