TOWN OF DOUGLAS
PLANNING BOARD
LEGAL NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with MGL Chapter 40A, Section 5 and the Town of Douglas Zoning Bylaws, the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing for the following Bylaw amendments:

To delete, in its entirety, Section 3.2.2 - Accessory Uses in All Districts and replace it with language that allows certain types of trailers by right, and further permits other types of trailers by Special Permit issued from the Zoning Board of Appeals. The bylaw imposes minimum conditions on the trailers that may be permitted by Special Permit. Additionally, a definition for Trailer is proposed to be added to Section 10.0 – Definitions of the Zoning Bylaws as follows:

“Trailer: A non-motorized vehicle designed and intended to be towed or hauled behind a motorized vehicle.”

The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 8:00pm
In the Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA.
A copy of the proposed amendment is available for viewing in the Community Development Department during regular business hours within the Douglas Municipal Center, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA.


Anyone interested or wishing to be heard should appear at the time and place designated.
