The Town of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals will hold Public Hearings beginning at 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Douglas Municipal Center, Community Meeting Room, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA to hear the following Applications:

7:00 PM Kenneth Bernard is requesting a Special Permit in a Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoned District pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Section 3.0-Use Regulations, Subsection 3.4-Nonconforming Uses and Structures, Subsection 3.4.7-Reconstruction after Catastrophe or Demolition to raze an existing single family dwelling and construct a new single family dwelling with an increase in volume of the proposed structure, the adjusted location of the structure and the lack of side yard and front yard setbacks on property located at 306 Northwest Main Street, Assessors Map 159, Parcel 14.

7:30 PM NorthBrown, LLC is requesting a Modification to their Comprehensive Permit dated December 10, 2009, Case #2008-09, pursuant to MGL Chapter 40B, 760 CMR 56.05 (11) located in an Industrial (IND) Zoned District for the purpose of making changes to the sewer infrastructure on property located at North Street and Brown Road, Assessors Map 117, Parcel 61.

7:45 PM Bryan & Jessica Lynch are requesting a Variance in a Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoned District pursuant to the Douglas Zoning Bylaws, Appendix B-Dimensional Requirements, to vary the 25-foot rear yard setback to 10-feet with a difference of 15-feet in order to erect an above-ground swimming pool approximately 25-feet round on property located at 10 Cobblestone Lane, Assessors Map 189, Parcel 39.1.

A copy of the Applications may be viewed in the Community Development Department during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed Applications should appear at the time and place designated.
